Beraber σημαίνει "μαζί" στα Τούρκικα. Χρησιμοποιείται επίσης και σαν ορολογία για το ομαδικό ταξίμι, όπου ο ένας συμπληρώνει τον άλλον. Τον συμπληρώνει, τον εμπλουτίζει.
Η Σοφία Ευκλείδου (τσέλο) και ο Ταξιάρχης Γεωργούλης (ούτι,yayli tanbur), παρουσιάζουν συνθέσεις Τουρκικής και Αραβικής μουσικής, κρητικά συρτά, καθώς και συνθέσεις από Αρμένιους, Αζέρους και Έλληνες συνθέτες από τον 11ο αιώνα μέχρι σήμερα. Δεν λείπουν επίσης και οι συνθέσεις των ίδιων. Το ντουέτο Beraber διακρίνεται τόσο για τη δεξιοτεχνία όσο και για την μουσικότητα που διαθέτει καθώς και για την ευρηματικότητα σε νέες ενορχηστρώσεις παλαιού υλικού.Ο αυτοσχεδιασμός παίζει πρωταρχικό ρόλο στον ήχο του ντουέτου καθώς οι δύο μουσικοί εναποθέτουν τη δημιουργικότητά τους μέσα στις συνθέσεις που ερμηνεύουν. The Beraber duo has both the skill and the musicality available and ingenuity in new orchestrations of old material. Improvisation plays a key role in the sound of the duett as both musicians lay their creativity in the compositions played. Using the duet as a basis, they often collaborate with several other musicians. |
